The cable that connects the camera must therefore have at least one **female** FAKRA Z connector. > **Note** > > The [ZED X One Core](/docs/products/cameras/zedxone-core/) uses a MIPI CSI-2 coaxial cable of up to 50 cm, not a GMSL2 cable. The cameras are powered over the coaxial cable: see [GMSL2 Power Requirements](/docs/products/embedded/zed-link-capture-card/gmsl2/gmsl-2-power-requirements) to size the power of your setup. ## Maximum length > **Warning** > > The maximum total length of a GMSL2 link, from the host connector to the camera, is **15 m (49 ft)**, including the 0.5 m of the 1-to-4 cable. Longer links can cause camera disconnections. Each coupling between two cables adds noise to the signal and reduces the length you can reach.
