# Cooling Fans

The [Fan for ZED Box Mini and ZED Box 2](https://www.stereolabs.com/store/products/fan-for-zed-box-mini) is a compact 12 V fan that mounts above the heatsink fins and connects to the 12 V fan connector of the device.

The kit includes the fan, its mount, the mounting screws, and the cable with its connector.

> **Note**
>
> If you use a third-party fan on the ZED Box Mini or the Mini Carrier Board, make sure that it operates at 12 V and draws no more than 500 mA. A higher current triggers the protection fuse of the fan connector and stops the fan.
