What’s New
ZED SDK 5.1 introduces ZED Studio, a new tool to view and manage multiple cameras, streams and SVOs in one app, with synchronized playback and recording. ZED Sensor Viewer can now play back SVO files alongside the camera view, and ZED Diagnostic improves its GMSL diagnostic. ZED Media Server is deprecated in favor of the new Virtual Stereo API.

ZED Studio
- Introduced ZED Studio, a new tool for viewing and managing multiple cameras, streams and SVOs in one app. It supports customizable layouts with drag-and-drop panels, synchronized playback and recording, and group control of settings. The tool enables multi-camera streaming, simplifies data collection, and supports command-line options to auto-load sources at launch. On Windows, it is now the default application for opening SVO files.
ZED Sensor Viewer
- Enabled SVO playback and seeking.
- Added a toggleable camera view to display the camera feed along with the sensor data, in both Live and SVO mode.
ZED Diagnostic
- Improved the GMSL diagnostic to detect potential driver mismatches, capture card power and connection issues, and GMSL cable status.
ZED Calibration
- Fixed the
--cimudcommand-line argument to handle all GMSL cameras.
ZED Media Server
- ZED Media Server is now deprecated; use the new, more efficient Virtual Stereo API instead.
- Fixed the adaptive GOP size depending on the FPS of the cameras.
