What’s New

The ZED Explorer --dc option can now download the factory calibration of a camera and write it to the camera EEPROM. The ZED Tools support the new ZED X Nano camera and SVO2 recording encryption, and ZED Studio adds unrectified views to its camera settings panel.

General

  • Added support for the ZED X Nano camera (sl::MODEL::ZED_X_NANO) to all tools, including calibration. Requires ZED X Driver >= 1.4.2.
  • Added support for SVO2 recording encryption to the tools.

ZED Explorer

  • Updated the --dc / --download_calibration command-line option, which now downloads the factory calibration from the StereoLabs server and writes it to the camera EEPROM. It accepts an optional list of serial numbers; if none is provided, all connected cameras are processed. For each camera the tool downloads the .conf file, compares it against the calibration already stored in EEPROM, and writes it only if the data differs. Usage: ZED_Explorer --dc [SN1 SN2 ...].
  • Updated the default sharpness value.
  • Fixed exposure and gain sliders not updating correctly in manual mode.

ZED Studio

  • Added unrectified views to the camera settings panel.

ZED Sensor Viewer

  • Fixed auto-scaling not working when replaying SVO files.
